Zero Cooldown — Where We’re At (April 2026)

·

A few things have changed at Zero Cooldown — and we think you’ll notice.

A Cleaner Site, A Better Experience

We’ve rebuilt and streamlined zero-cooldown.com from the ground up. The goal was simple: less noise, more clarity. Whether you’re here for the books, the TTRPG content, or just to follow what we’re building — it should now be easier to find what you’re looking for and understand who we are.

This is an ongoing process. We’ll keep refining and improving. If something feels off or you have feedback, we genuinely want to hear it — reach out at zero-cooldown@pm.me.

Illustration Services — A Chapter Closed

We’ve made the decision to end our illustration commission services. It wasn’t an easy call — we’re proud of the work we did — but Zero Cooldown’s future is in publishing and game design, not freelance illustration. The energy has to go where it matters most right now.

Speaking of which.

Something Is Being Forged

Two years in the making. Eight months of real production. Three months of live playtesting — six groups, two sessions each, two groups have completed both. The system is being stress-tested at real tables, with real players. That’s where we are.

Blades in the Dark — Season 1 Has Ended

Our Blades in the Dark YouTube series wrapped up its first season on April 10th. It’s been a hell of a ride — thank you to everyone who followed along, commented, and joined us in Duskwall.

The Season 1 loot giveaway is still open. There’s no deadline — but only 3 winners will be selected, and spots are limited. If you haven’t entered yet, now’s the time.

Novdorod — Yes, We’re Bringing It Up Again

Yes, Novdorod has been out for a while. But we really want you to read it — so we’re making it a no-brainer. For the next month, the PDF drops to $1 USD and the EPUB to $1.50 USD. Spring is here, summer’s coming. Perfect timing for a short story of dark fantasy.

Follow the guard captain of Novdorod as he uncovers the city’s darkest secret. Somewhere between Game of Thrones, Berserk and The Witcher — but its own thing entirely.

This force you feel pulling you down is not fate or destiny.
This felt force can take different forms and attacks you in various ways.
Light allows you to destroy this force.
Being an outsider is not a fatality. It is the starting point.
The game of life is just a test.
What character do you embody?
